Todd Edwards Remixes Fatboy Slim’s ‘Rockafeller Skank’
Fatboy Slim presents a brand-new remix pack of his classics before embarking on his UK tour.
Dance music icon Fatboy Slim has tapped UK garage pioneer Todd Edwards to remix his chart-topping track, “Rockafeller Skank.”
The track is part of a new series on Skint Records called Everybody Loves A Remix. Clubland luminaries from across the electronic music spectrum have been tasked with remixing the UK legend’s biggest tunes.
Following a booming remix package of Fatboy Slim’s “Weapon Of Choice” from Bulgarian machine maestro KiNK — released back in July — Todd ‘the God’ Edwards steps up next to deliver a sultry and swinging four-to-the-floor rework of “Rockafeller Skank.” With disco horns, knocking percussion, and a buoyant bassline that holds up the unforgettable vocals “right about now, the funk soul brother here,” it’s a killer interpretation of a timeless tune.
