Beatport Exclusive: Mind Against Return to Afterlife with 'Changes'

Brothers Alessandro and Federico Fognini of the Berlin-based duo Mind Against have returned to Afterlife Records with a new EP entitled Changes.

Having released a flurry of remixes for artists like Moby, WhoMadeWho, Monolink, Camelphat, and Dominik Eulberg over the past 14 months, the record follows the pair’s last original outing on Afterlife, Walking Away — a critically acclaimed two-tracker that saw the title track rise to the number three spot of Beatport’s most downloaded tracks of 2020.

Changes sees the Italian duo sticking to their winning musical formula, combining rich piano chords and weightless synths with purposeful percussion on the record’s title track, and letting delicate harps and ethereal vocals take the lead on the b-side with “Closer.”

Mind Against has a jam-packed touring schedule this year with dates at fabric, Tomorrowland, DGTL Festival, Terminal V, and more. Their eagerly awaiting return to the stage will act as the perfect platform to road test these spellbinding tunes, so get ready for some serious dance floor magic!
