With Beatport Insider, we look at key stats from the Beatport store each month. This time, we look at the artists, tracks, and labels that dominated our techno genre’s sales and streaming charts over the past six months.
Drumcode holds fast as Beatport’s top techno label, with Filth on Acid and 1605 accomplishing a huge spike in sales over the past six months. Rising French techno heavyweight Space 92 — Beatport’s top-selling techno artist of 2020 — continues to hold the number one slot, followed closely by his idol/collaborator UMEK and Belgian techno phenomenon Charlotte de Witte.
