Sama’ Abdulhadi Takes Over Beatport’s Livestream Residency in April

Beginning on Monday, April 19th at 15:00 CST, Palestinian DJ/producer Sama’ Abdulhadi will take the reigns of Beatport’s Residency on Twitch to present a wicked lineup of top-tier talent from across Western Asia throughout the month. Guests include Sinan, Nesa Azadikhah, and many others.

In December, Abdulhadi was sadly imprisoned by the Palestinian Authority while recording an event for the Beatport Residency series. She was later released, and we couldn’t be happier at having her return for an all new broadcast.

“Honestly, it is a HUGE relief to finally see the Beatport Residency broadcast,” Sama’ explained. “I took this on to showcase the scene in the Middle East that has helped and inspired my journey up until this point, and in trying to do something positive, I ended up achieving a different kind of attention to myself and this region. So despite the time in jail, the rumors, the love and hate, and the fact that my case has not yet been resolved, I remain positive and proud to bring things back to music and show the great talents in and around my home country.”
