On Friday, March 27, Beatport is bringing you the best clubland has to offer straight to your living room with ReConnect — a 24-hour music marathon on Twitch with leading DJs from around the world to raise funds for those most in need.
Beginning at 8 pm GMT, 24 incredible artists in 24 locations around the world will participate in a nonstop dance music marathon of epic proportions. The lineup includes Carl Cox, Bonobo (DJ set), Nina Kraviz, GRiZ, RÜFÜS DU SOL (DJ set), A-Trak, Nicole Moudaber, Chris Liebing, Nora En Pure and more — all of whom will be inviting you into their homes or studios for this one-of-a-kind online dance music gathering.
During the live stream, viewers can make donations, with the money going directly to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund and our streaming partner, AFEM (Association For Electronic Music) — who will distribute funds to members of the electronic music community who are most in need of financial assistance during the Covid pandemic.
As an incentive to donate during the stream on Twitch, we’ve teamed up with music tech companies around the world, who have kindly donated thousands of euros worth of software, synths, and DJ equipment. It will all be up for grabs during the live stream — so tune in!
