Beatport Exclusive: Mat.Joe Launch New PRÏMA Label with the Melodic Uplifter, "Serena"
The German duo links with newcomers C’mon and Otistic for their new label’s debut single.
Matze and Johannes of Berlin-based hip-hop and house music duo Mat.Joe have announced the launch of their very own music label, PRÏMA.
Known for their unique blend of talents and ability to cross genre lines with ease, Mat.Joe have kept themselves busy in the studio throughout the pandemic and are now preparing to unleash a new wave of playful dance floor bliss upon the world.
Referring to the track as “a break in the clouds that brought the sunshine back into our hearts” following the “dark times in 2020,” their debut PRÏMA tune, “Serena,” — created with the help of up-and-coming Berlin acts, Otistic and C’mon — is a melodic house & techno journey filled with big strings, passionate synths, and motivating percussion.
