Beatport and Absolut Launch “President House” Remix Challenge
The winner will receive a $5000 prize package, an official release on King Street Sounds, and their track will be played during Beatport x Absolut’s NYE Livestream event.
Following the success of our Beatport Producer Challenge and DJ Harvey Remix Competition earlier this year, we’re giving one more talented producer the chance to finish 2020 strong with our final remix competition of the year.
As part of the Beatport x Absolut New Years Eve Livestream celebration — a 20-plus hour online party hitting more than 15 time zones with DJs in cities across the globe — the winning remixer’s track will get a global debut from one of our talented performers during the stream.
The track to remix is a stimulating vocal rework of Roland Clark and Urban Soul‘s timeless dance floor anthem, “President House,” from the uplifting house duo, Hott 22. Check out the tune below!
On top of the worldwide premiere during Beatport x Absolut’s NYE livestream, the winner will receive an official release on seminal garage and house imprint King Street Sounds and be gifted a massive $5,000 prize package.

- Go to the Beatport x Absolut Remix Challenge landing site (here)
- Download the Acappella on the landing page.
- The remix MUST INCLUDE the acapella from Roland Clark’s “President House.”
- The remix must be unreleased.
- Submit your remix on the landing site and ensure that your file size does not exceed 30 MB.
The deadline for this competition is Friday, December 18th, 2020, at Midnight Pacific Time.
