Nearly all DJ controllers are compatible with TRAKTOR PRO 3. When you’re looking to integrate a controller, you have three options:

1. Plug-and-play integration with all Native Instruments DJ controllers:
Native Instruments DJ Controllers have plug-and-play integration via USB. That means no manual setup is required – just plug it in and start mixing.

2. Easy integration with all “TRAKTOR ready” controllers:
Many third-party controllers are “TRAKTOR ready”. In this case, you can simply choose your controller in the TRAKTOR setup wizard, and with a few clicks you’re ready to go.

3. Manual integration with other DJ controllers:
If your controller is neither “TRAKTOR ready” nor from Native Instruments, look for preconfigured TRAKTOR MIDI mappings (.tsi files) for your controller by searching the web, checking at DJtechtools.com, or Traktorbible.com, or by visiting the manufacturer page of your controller. You can also manually assign all functions you need by using the convenient MIDI learn feature in TRAKTOR PRO 3. Your individual assignments and mappings can then be saved for future use.

Matthias Tanzmann has been one of the leaders the house conversation for more than two decades now. He is one of the prominent residents for the Circoloco crew at Ibiza’s iconic DC10 in Ibiza, heads up the agenda-setting Moon Harbour label and releases his slick, forward-looking house and techno on labels like Dirtybird and Saved. On top of this, along with Martin Buttrich and Davide Squillace, he is one third of Better Lost Than Stupid, a red hot DJ and studio collective who put out their debut studio album Wild Slide in 2019, hot on the heels of Tanzmann’s own latest career-spanning and autobiographical solo album, Round and Round with guests like Steve Bug and Mathias Kaden. He might have been doing this for over 20 years, but still, Matthias Tanzmann remains as influential as ever.
