As charismatic and fearless as they come, DJ/producer and activist Louisahhh marks her journey to becoming “punk’s essential new heroine” with the announcement of her forthcoming album, The Practice of Freedom.

Melding her authentic punk ethos, aesthetic, and background with raw techno and electro compositions, the New York-born, Paris-based artist has made a name for herself as one of dance music’s most ferocious players. Pushing out a surplus of bold tracks on labels like Brodinski’s Bromance, Skint Records, and her RAAR imprint — which she runs alongside French artist Maelstrom — Louisahhh’s unyielding and industrial sound brings mosh pit intensity to any dance floor it touches.

Set to drop on March 12th via global LGBTQIA+ collective and imprint, HE.SHE.THEY, The Practice of Freedom is steeped in a medley of themes, touching on everything from eroticism and empowerment to addiction and the apocalypse. Ahead of the LP’s release, Louisahhh has shared her first cut from the album, “Numb, Undone.” Listen to the track below.
