Third Son Drops New EP on Shall Not Fade, '1ntrnt 0f 3vrthng'

The classically trained DJ, producer, and modular aficionado Third Son lands back on Kieran Williams’ celebrated Shall Not Fade imprint with a new three-track EP, 1ntrnt 0f 3vrthng — released under his freshly minted TS moniker.

Having treated us to flurry of noteworthy records on labels like Hot Haus Recs, Duro, and Unknown To The Unknown back in 2022, Third Son is gearing up for another prolific year of music production with a new single, “So High,” already slated for March on Polymath. With the debut of his TS alias for 1ntrnt 0f 3vrthng, we see the UK artist forming a new sonic trajectory rooted in rugged dance floor delight.

“TS is a new experiment with the raw side of dance sounds,” he explains. “It’s the digital counterpart of Third Son — a burned CD with missing bits on export. Result? Blown out signals, overambitious melodies, time dissonance, degenerate drum patterns, incoherent vocals, and rough drones.” Listen to the release below.
