The Myth of NYX x Beatport Hype Launch Producer Competition
Dutch label The Myth of NYX teams up with Beatport Hype’s new label accelerator program to launch a producer competition — giving producers worldwide the opportunity to score an official release on one of Beatport’s top-selling tech house imprints.
After graduating 20 imprints from its highly successful promotional platform for independent labels, Beatport has teamed up with five of these graduates — Alula Tunes, The Myth of NYX, Colorize (Enhanced), Deepalma, and Area Verde — to enter into a new and exciting phase of the Beatport Hype program.
Throughout 2023, Beatport Hype – The Next Level will host independent production competitions alongside these five distinguished labels, allowing music producers the chance to win an official release on each imprint and widespread support from Beatport and the label itself.
These labels will release their own Loopcloud PLAY instrument packs for each competition, which will serve as the foundation of each submitted demo on LabelRadar. A 30-day free trial to Loopcloud will be offered to all competition participants.
ENTER THE BEATPORT HYPE x THE MYTH OF NYX PRODUCER COMPETITION
A music label with a sound and aesthetic that the Greek gods of old inspire, the Dutch imprint The Myth of NYX pays homage to one of Mount Olympia’s most revered champions, Nyx — the goddess of the night. Founded in 2019, the label has quickly made a name for itself in crafting copious amounts of divine dance floor weapons that have become staples in the sets of high-caliber DJs across the globe. Embracing the essence of the night with their shadowy and nefarious strain of tech house, Myth of NYX touts releases from the likes of Chapter & Verse, DONT BLINK, Redux Saints, Truth x Lies, Volac, and more.
In celebration of Myth of Nyx’s brand new Loopcloud PLAY pack, producers are invited to create their own original tracks featuring some of the sounds that form the core essence of the project. You are able to make these signature sounds your own by having complete control and customization in order to create your very own masterpiece!
