Meet the Winners of Tiësto’s “The Business Pt. I + Pt. II” Remix Challenge

Back in March, Beatport partnered up with dance music icon Tiësto to present a once-in-a-lifetime remix opportunity for budding producers everywhere.

The Dutch superstar’s two-part release, “The Business Pt. I” and “The Business Pt. II” (featuring vocals from Ty Dolla $ign), is hands down one of the biggest dance music tracks of the year. To celebrate this massive tune’s success, Beatport, Loopmasters, LabelRadar, SPINNIN RECORDS, Musical Freedom, and Atlantic Records joined forces for what has easily been our biggest remix challenge to date — with a total of 18,000 people downloading the stems and 3,500 track submissions.

After sorting through all of the submissions, Tiësto and the various label teams have selected the top five remixes. Meet our winners and check out their tracks below!

Grand Prize Winner: Sparkee

Congratulations to Jesse Allen (AKA Sparkee) for taking home the grand prize for the Tiësto remix contest! Sparkee’s winning track appears on Tiësto’s recent The Business (Remixes) EP — out now via Atlantic Records.

In winning the contest, Sparkee will be taking home a $7,000 prize package which includes gear from Roland, ROLI, AIAIAI, SUBPAC, and a pair of highly coveted Barefoot FOOTPRINT01 Speakers. Check out the winning track below!
