Beatport Exclusive: “Work Move Shake” with Big Dope P and DJ Slugo

Big Dope P, the leader of Parisian footwork and juke label Moveltraxx, has joined forces with Chicago G-house originator DJ Slugo for a new electrofunk anthem, “Work Move Shake.”

Filled with ’80s-inspired synths, vocoders, and instructional vocals that are sure to make you “get your ass up on the floor,” the single is the first cut from Big Dope P’s debut album which arrives later this year.

The release also comes paired with a bonus track, “Tanagra,” which sees Big Dope P employing his big bass attitude in full, with heavily chopped piano samples and a crisp percussion arrangement.
