The last two years of Augusto Yepes’ career have been a triumph. Every track he’s released has soared up the Beatport charts, with “Amore,” “My Way” and “Bayamo” all making it to the top three most downloaded Melodic House & Techno tracks on Beatport. In May, the DJ and producer released his Breathe In EP, a three-track project that combines chugging house rhythms with disco synths to create music that makes magical moments. Up-and-coming Danish electro trio Tripolism are about to win over more hearts, minds and bodies with their debut album Absolute Dope out June 7th via Ultra Records. They’ve been unstoppable since they formed in 2021, with their track “Dope Dance” named one of BBC Radio 1's Essential New Tunes and one of Pete Tong’s Top 5 Essential New Tunes of the Year in 2023. Their music treads the line between indie-disco, melodic house and indie-dance, creating a perfect storm of personality, good vibes and serious 4-to-the-floor bangers. They count Dixon, Keinemusik and Chloe Caillet as fans, and have gigs lined up across Europe this summer in Paris, Ibiza, Istanbul, Mykonos and beyond. Make sure you catch them behind the booth; their buoyant and explorative vibes are best experienced live.

Val Fleury Beatportal

VAL FLEURY

If Liberia-born, US-based DJ and producer Val Fleury isn’t on your radar yet, she should be. Her Afro-House-Techno DJ sets are vibes on vibes, and her passion for platforming the sound of West Africa is palpable through her music. Currently based in LA, she's played stand-out sets at Coachella, Miami Music Week, Roots Picnic and SXSW, winning over thousands with her contagious, high-octane selections. Her productions are no different, with her debut release “Believe” fusing emotive vocals with a euphoric house beat. One of her latest releases, “PST,” is a continuation of this energy, a mixture of trance and tech-house with powerful female vocals that drive the track forward. In addition, she's just dropped her latest tune "Technically" — a belter that blares out as a love letter to club culture. She’s passionate about showcasing under-represented talent from outside the US, and aims to make dance music a more inclusive space worldwide.

Sobolik On Our Radar

Sobolik’s “As A Metaphor” delivers sub-bass dives, metallic tones and a rubbery bassline alongside breathy vocals and a haunting lead synth. You can catch Sobolik’s high-energy, bass-filled sets on their Lot Radio residency this summer.

Less O Beatportal

LESS-O

Cri du Coeur is the captivating new mini album from promising young producer Maxime Aussel, AKA Less-O. Building on the success of his debut Shenanigans EP, his latest project heads into more emotional terrain with tracks filled with tension and immersive soundscapes. Drawing from both the personal and universal, this record explores the idea of the dancefloor as a form of catharsis. The album pays tribute to Less-O's multifaceted inspirations, from his South American heritage to his background as a drummer. The titular track, “Cri du Coeur” (which means ‘cry of the heart' in French), is an intense, heartfelt electronic outcry, while “Last Mic Jack” revisits the Amen break, infusing a torrent of kick and sub. Rigorously tested and endorsed by Simo Cell in most of his DJ sets last year, these tracks have earned the seal of approval from ravers worldwide.
