Deeplomatic Recordings Drops 35-Track Charity Compilation, ‘Beat It Cancer’
Deeplomatic Recordings unites 45 artists from around the world to raise awareness and funds for the fight against cancer.
With the hopes of raising awareness about cancer while boosting funds for cancer prevention organizations, Deeplomatic Recordings has dropped an eclectic 35-track V/A compilation, Beat It Cancer, on International Breast Cancer Day (October 22nd).
The compilation brings together 45 artists from across the electronic music spectrum, touching on everything from deep house to melodic techno to organic house, nu disco, jackin’ house, and more. Contributing artists include Sandy Rivera, Yaya, Daniel Steinburg, Jay Tripwire, Toni Varga, Denney, Cristian Varela, Simone Vitullo, Hito, Crazibiza, and label manager Alex Ferrer among others.
“Many of the artists felt drawn to the project as they have lost friends, family and colleagues to cancer,” says Alex Ferrer about the charity record. “It is a personal project for myself as well. I hope we can provide our grain of sand to the collective fight of this horrible disease.”
Beatport has waived its fee for this release, with all proceeds donated to Breast Cancer UK and Children with Cancer UK for cancer prevention and research. Listen to the compilation below.
