Berlin’s Cinthie has remixed “The Whistle Track” by Frankie Knuckles.

Taken from his 1991 album Beyond The Mix, “The Whistle Song” was Frankie’s first US Dance Chart number one, and remains one of the most iconic productions in house music. The track recently has been given an update by longtime Knuckles collaborator Eric Kupper, who delivered a Director’s Cut, which Cinthie has put her own spin on.

Cinthie is one of Berlin’s most beloved house music artists. Her debut album, Skylines — City Lights, was released on Aus Music last year to widespread acclaim from fans and producers alike. She also runs three house music labels, 803 Crystal Grooves, We_R House, and the newly-launched Collective Cuts, along with a Friedrichshain-based vinyl store called Elevate.

Cinthie’s extended remix of “The Whistle Song” is available for pre-order now, and will be fully available on August 20th. Check it out below.
