Currently based in Berlin by way of her hometown, Mexico City, Yoan Rodriguez (AKA Lokier) has joined forces with Amelie Lens‘ mighty Lenske Records imprint to present her new and ballistic three-track EP, Back To Life.

Lokier has firmly established herself as one of the scene’s most reliable and versatile underground talents, with performances in over 30 countries worldwide and releases on labels like Sacred Bones, Boysnoize Records, Pinkman, and her freshly-minted Light Strike imprint.

Demonstrating her ability to fuse the worlds of industrial, rave, techno, and trance, this devastating three-track EP is not to be missed. Kicking things off with the title track “Back To Life,” Lokier sets the tone with vigorous kicks, devilish trance-infused pads, and crashing percussion. Refusing to take her foot off the accelerator, the darkness and ferocity increase with “Dimension” — an acidic and ominous excursion that builds off the previous track’s commanding energy with electro elements and perilous echos. Finally, she ends the journey with “Call Me,” bringing violent synths and serrated highs to the forefront with a raw, unbridled power that simply won’t quit. Check out the EP below.
