Amelie Lens Reveals New EP on Lenske, ‘In My Mind’
The Lenske imprint leader returns to her label for the first time in two years with an impactful three-track release.
Belgian techno trailblazer Amelie Lens has hit us with a brand new EP titled In My Mind via her Lenske imprint.
The explosive three-track package marks the artist’s first solo release on her globally revered label since 2020, following the release of her joint Ravers Heart EP with rising French producer AIROD.
The record opens up with the parading beats and merciless energy of Lens’ title track, “In My Mind,” complete with welcoming spoken word incantations from Lens herself. What follows is “First Light” — a heat-seeking dance floor driver flanked by violent kicks and peppered with acid lines. The EP concludes with “Trippin,” a tune that fluctuates between soft tones and vigorous rhythms to create a dizzying and dark techno gem that will send you into a frenzy. Listen below.
