Beatport Next: Submit Your Sound for The Class of 2022

In 2021, Beatport kicked off its brand new artist accelerator program, Beatport Next, providing six emerging artists — TSHA, Kevin de Vries, Logic1000, VNSSA, Alignment, and IMANU — with a year of dedicated support. With 2021 coming to a close, Beatport is offering eight emerging artists from around the world the chance to join the Beatport Next class of 2022.

So what does our Beatport Next program do exactly, and how can it help bring more attention to your sound?

Over the course of the next 12 months, Beatport may provide its eight Beatport Next artists with homepage features, banners, and eye-catching placement for new releases throughout our store, featured LINK playlists, editorial coverage on Beatportal, live streams, and social media support.

With Beatport Next, we’re deepening our commitment to supporting upcoming artists at various stages of their development, while strengthening their visibility and connection to Beatport’s global DJ community.

What are we looking for in an artist who wants to join the Beatport Next class of 2022?

With Beatport Next, we wish to cover a wide range of genres and scenes, so what you play and where you’re from doesn’t matter! We highly value diversity at Beatport.

Primarily, we are looking for artists who have signed to a few record labels or run their own imprint, are skilled and experienced DJs, have music currently available on Beatport, and have a heavy release schedule for 2022.
