UK Producer Franky Wah releases “This Is SHÈN” mixtape featuring Stellar Collaborators including Sasha

Fast-rising dance star Franky Wah has returned with a new 27-track mix tape called ‘This Is SHÈN’ this month. “This mixtape was a project that initially started out as 8 tracks,” says Franky. “Through multiple rounds of revisions, 8 tracks then turned into 27 as I had so much music that I was sitting on. I’ve been playing most of these records in my sets for a while now.” The new project includes recent Pete Tong Essential New Tune “Formulate” as well as current single “The Otherside” which features Robinson. There is also a full video mix of the entire project online. “This mixtape has been 4 years in the making so to finally have these tracks see the light of day feels slightly surreal. I’ve been sitting on so much unreleased material so this felt like the only natural way to get it out into the world. I’m buzzing for everyone to hear it!”

The seamless mix of unreleased music also features collaborations with Sasha (‘I’ll Never Change’ (SHÈN Edit), Luisant and Brighton-based singer/songwriter Lunar June, who has one of the mixtape highlights with their song ‘Losing Sleep.’ “Big love to Franky for having me on the mixtape and for all the wild shows so far,” she said. “I’m very honoured to be part of this!”
