Why have you chosen these tracks?
These tracks are all vibe tracks, there’s no rhyme or reason behind the choices. They all just have a distinct feeling. A lot of them have titles that signify the current scenario.
How have your listening habits changed in isolation?
I listen to way more mellow stuff in isolation. I’m not throwing on a ton of bangers over here right now.
Is there music you have rediscovered recently?
Yeah, I am so in love with all the old, ‘90s, cooled-out electronica like Portishead, Massive Attack, Boards Of Canada… that was a special time.
Do you view music differently than you did before the pandemic?
Maybe, I think music is still one of the few things people can feel in their hearts. For me personally, the isolated times have made me appreciate music a lot more and not take anything for granted. Just for example, in my studio I’m so grateful for everything here so I can work on music right now.
And lastly, what’s happening in the picture you’ve provided for us?
In the photo I’m trying to make a music video for my new single all by myself with no help. It was insane to try it, but I think it worked even if it was just to prove it to myself that I could do it.
