Beatport Hype Launches New Program, The Next Level

With an average of 25,000 tracks arriving in Beatport’s ever-growing catalog each month, finding avenues of exposure can often be an uphill battle for small, independent music labels.

That’s why Beatport created Beatport Hype — the ultimate promotional platform for up-and-coming imprints that provides a suite of custom features and marketing opportunities to help amplify their sound and put their name on display.

Hype labels have their music featured on the site through dedicated slots and homepage/genre banners for new releases, Hype Charts, Hype Picks, and chances for editorial coverage on Beatportal. Since 2018, labels that sign up with Hype have seen an increase of more than 40% in track sales and an average traffic increase of 84% on the Beatport site.

Thanks to the success of this accelerator program, some of Beatport’s Hype labels have grown so much that they can no longer be classified as small labels! With this in mind, we’d like to congratulate the following 20 labels on their achievements and for completing the Hype program.

Hype – The Next Level

Among these graduating imprints, five will participate in a new and exciting opportunity for both the labels and budding producers worldwide — Hype – The Next Level. Over the course of 2023, Alula Tunes, The Myth of NYX, Colorize (Enhanced), Deepalma, and Area Verde will be releasing their very own Loopcloud PLAY instrument packs that will run in conjunction with five individual producer competitions for each of these labels on LabelRadar.

Once released, producers will have one month to use these PLAY instrument packs to create their own unique compositions and submit their original tracks to LabelRadar for the rare opportunity to score an official release.
