Beatport Insider: Top-Selling Dance / Electro Pop Tracks, Artists, and Labels (2023)
With Beatport Insider, we look at key stats from the Beatport store each month. This time, we look at the artists, tracks, and labels that dominated our Dance / Electro Pop genre sales and streaming charts over the past six months.
Coming in as Beatport’s best-selling dance / electro pop artist of 2023 (so far) is Chicago’s dance floor dominator John Summit, whose collaboration with UK vocalist and songwriter Hayla “Where You Are” has climbed to the genre’s overall number 1 spot in sales, followed by Young Marco’s “What You Say?” — a brilliant fast-paced rework of Imogen Heap’s “Hide and Seek” on Ministry of Sound.
Speaking of Ministry of Sound Recordings, the British dance music institution takes home the prize of being this section’s best-selling music label, followed by SPINNIN’ RECORDS and Off The Grid.
