Beatport Insider: Top-Selling Trance Tracks, Artists, and Labels (2023)

It comes as no surprise to see Trance legend Andreas Tomalla aka Talla 2XLC headlining the list of top-selling artists, especially considering how fruitful his music recent music activity is, including a fresh rework to the renowned Braveheart theme. He is followed close behind by Italian maestro Giuseppe Ottaviani, whose releases surprise with diversity, ranging from melodic vocal tunes to dancefloor bangers tapping even into the techno world.

The top-selling track comes from Grammy-nominated BT, his classic “Mercury & Solace” originally released in 1999 and this time remixed by Dutch-based Helsloot to make it ready for modern DJ sets.

Black Hole Recordings sits at the top of the most-selling labels, and well deserved! This behemoth is followed by a British label run by Aly & Fila, FSOE, perfectly capturing the essence of uplifting trance music.
