Laurent Garnier & Scan X Release Two New Tracks on Their COD3 QR Label

After much speculation, the true identities behind the brilliantly curated COD3 QR label are now public knowledge — French dance music icons Laurent Garnier and Scan X.

Founded in 2018, the COD3 QR label has presented each release anonymously, using only a unique QR code to help identify each record. After a two-month waiting period, with fans guessing as to who’s behind each EP, the true identity of the artists are finally revealed. Some of the contributing acts have so far included François V, CYRK, R.O.S.H., Agents Of Time, Theobald Ringer, and more.

With the cat now out of the bag, Laurent Garnier and Scan X have contributed two new original tunes for the label’s 10th release, COD3 QR 010. Garnier gets raw and emotional on the drum machines with “How D’Ya Like The Beef,” while Scan X’s murky techno piercer “Internal” hits us with catching percussion and aquatic synths.

Italian producers Speaking Minds & Amarcord also feature, coming together to produce the airy and compelling track “Poliritmo,” while Uruguay-based act Diego Infanzon rounds things off with his string-laden techno funk tune, “Bye Bye.”
