Fast-rising Parisian-Malaysian DJ and label owner RONI has released a stunning nine-track V/A compilation titled Transnaturel via her Nehza Records imprint.
Focusing on the themes of transformation, nature, and climate change, the record is inspired by the hidden beauty of our planet and the invisible forces that drive us as humans.
The label’s debut compilation transcends genre but still aims its sights on the dance floor, with a high-octane selection of breaks, techno, bass, dub, acid, rave, electro, and eurodance. Building their own sonic stories around today’s environmental predicament, the V/A features Cassius Select, GЯEG, Aloka, Wanton Witch, Polyphemus, Amaliah, Von Riu, NSDOS, and Amor Satyr. Listen to the full release below.
“Transnaturel is about exploring freedom in electronic music and its different influences, with a practice within a theme that is important to me — nature,” says RONI about the record. “So I reached out to artists who inspire me; I wanted to spread a message and amplify it through their music.”
“As humans, we feel invisible things, like intuition. We listen to it; it guides us. It helps us understand good and bad situations. By removing the distractions of the modern world, we realign our invisible senses, like intuition, and reconnect with our inner power. This transformative action brings us closer to our natural roots, allowing us to navigate the world from a higher frequency.”
