Adam Beyer and DJ Rush Join Forces on ‘Restore My Soul’ EP
The four-track EP marks the debut collaboration between the two giants of techno.
Drumcode boss Adam Beyer and Chicago’s DJ Rush have teamed up for the first time on the Restore My Soul EP, a four-tracker that’s available for pre-order now on Drumcode.
Both Beyer and DJ Rush (who was our cover artist last summer) are legends of the techno genre, and have greatly inspired each other over the years.
“It gives me such pleasure to have the opportunity to work with Adam Beyer,” DJ Rush said. “His earlier music influenced my style back in the late ‘90s and early 2000s. Even today I can drop an old Drumcode track and it has a big impact on the dancefloor. Adam and I have the same passion for music, so this guided us together and we turned out a fierce EP.”
As a fan of DJ Rush since the late ’90s, Beyer said that “it was a pleasure to collaborate with him on this EP.”
“This is a powerful EP with four distinctly different flavours that I think all Drumcode fans are going to love,” Beyer continued. “I just hope we have the chance to play them out live as soon as humanly possible.”
