Meet the Winners of Beatport and Pioneer DJ’s The Big Break Competition
After hundreds of submissions and many hours of killer sets from our finalists, Beatport wraps up its four-month-long DJ competition with Pioneer DJ.
Back in February of this year, Beatport linked up with Pioneer DJ to present a new monthly DJ competition that will offer DJs of all sounds the chance to win great prizes, show off their skills, and build up their fanbase on a global scale.
Called The Big Break, each month, Beatport sorted through hundreds of 20-minute set submissions before selecting eight finalists to perform for thousands of listeners on Beatport’s Twitch Channel using Beatport LINK. A panel of judges from Beatport and Pioneer DJ chose three winners for each month’s competition, all of whom took home thousands of euros in prizes, including subscriptions, top-of-the-line music gear, and more.
With over 750 submissions from emerging DJs all over the world, the outpouring of talent that hit the decks and took over Beatport’s channels over these past four months was astounding. We want to congratulate our 12 top contenders once again and be sure to revisit our four winning sets from LA’s Courtney LAROC, Rotterdam’s Susan Right, Australia’s SUPERNOVA lights the way, and Spain’s BTRIZ.
