Hot on the heels of her launch party at Spiritland last night, Honey Dijon releases her long-awaited new album Black Girl Magic via Classic Recordings today. It’s her sophomore album and a 15-track house extravaganza featuring vocalists including Eve (on “In The Club”), Channel Tres (“Show Me Some Love”) and Mike Dunn. The single “Show Me Some Love” also features Sadie Walker and the album also features additional production from Harry Romero on ‘In The Club’. And Dope Earth Alien appears on two tracks, “It’s Quiet Now” and “Drama.” The artwork is by Jam Sutton and uses 3D mapping.

“The album is dedicated to love,” says Honey. “Love of music, community, but most of all the love of self. Being true to who you are in spite of everything else and having the courage to love fearlessly.” Eve added: “I’m so excited to be a part of the album. It’s something so different to what I’ve ever done before – singing for the first time on a house beat! I’m so grateful to Honey and Luke Solomon.” Listen to the album below.
