Hannes Bieger Heads Up the Next Balance Series Compilation

Acclaimed German artist and electronic music engineer Hannes Bieger steps in for the next iteration of Melbourne-based imprint Balance Music‘s long-running ‘Balance Presents’ mix and compilation series.

After solidifying his reputation as one of Europe’s most in-demand engineers for electronic music artists, Bieger first hit the scene with his original strain of enchanting melodic house & techno in 2017 with his Strato release on Steve Bug’s Poker Flat Recordings. Since then, he’s toured the continent with his beautifully complex live show and released via labels such as Bedrock Records, Awesome Soundwave, Voltaire Music, Tronic, and more.

Comprised of all-exclusive music from Bieger, his friends, and collaborators, the 26-track compilation mix features fresh tunes from well-established dance floor maestros like Gui Boratto, Rodriguez Jr., and Victor Ruiz. The release also shines a spotlight on the sounds of up-and-coming acts like Olivia Foxglove, Thies Dry, Rafa Silva, Tripolism, and more.

“As an engineer and producer, I am working with many ‘A-List’ artists in this industry, but also with fresh new faces,” says Bieger. “So, I decided to make my Balance Series not only a platform for my own music, but to view it also as a wonderful opportunity to showcase some of the up and coming artists I am working with.”

Each track is a journey within itself, and the expertly crafted pace of the mix weaves through pounding rhythms, brooding atmospherics, heavenly melodies, and so much more, making the 77-minute runtime stretch into blissed-out infinity.
