Gardna and MC Skibadee release posthumous Charity Single “Every Time That I Land”

On the 27th of February 2022, the world unfortunately lost MC Skibadee, a musician who was clearly gone too soon. His sudden death, at the age of 47, touched music lovers around the world and his legacy will live on forever.

The pioneering MC regularly appeared in Bristol and often celebrated and helped shine a light on up and coming artists breaking through in the scene. Gardna had the honour of linking up and collaborating with MC Skibadee just 6 days before he passed away. “Every Time That I Land” is the outcome of Skibadee’s last ever studio session recorded in Bristol on 21/02/22.

The team at Boom Sound are blessed to be working with Skibadee’s nearest family members on this release to be able to donate the proceeds of this track to his daughters Asia and Skyler and the already iconic charity track is out now. Skibadee worked with some of the finest names in drum n bass over the years, including Shy FX, so this is a particularly poignant news story and post: Beatportal sends best wishes to everyone involved in the project.
