Meet Svetti: Beatport x Pete Tong DJ Academy's Future Talent Of The Year Winner
The emerging Los Angeles-based artist was recently honored at the 2024 edition of International Music Summit in Ibiza to accept this inaugural award.
Recently, at IMS in Ibiza, we were delighted to celebrate the first-ever Pete Tong DJ Academy Beatport Future Talent Of The Year Winner. Our collaboration with the Pete Tong DJ Academy saw hundreds of amazing DJs, representing over 130 countries, submit their mixes to be judged by a panel of experts.
It wasn’t easy choosing only one winner from such a talented group, but in the end there was one DJ that really stood out from the rest. Introducing, the first ever Pete Tong DJ Academy Beatport Future Talent Of The Year Winner…Svetti.
Currently, in the process of developing her own hybrid live set, Svetti has been a musician since she was a young child and is the daughter of a choir conductor. The Los Angeles-based DJ, producer and vocalist, who also won awards chosen by Adam Beyer and TSHA, plays a heady mix of Breaks with nostalgic rave influences throughout.
