One of techno’s biggest draws, Charlotte de Witte, continues her standout year with a brand new EP, The Resistance, dropping September 24 on KNTXT. The record closes the loop on her summer-long experimental audiovisual tour of the same name, where she captivated fans night after night with a production that was years in the making.

Towards the back of the tracklist you'll find "Another Place," a track ten years in the making. Charlotte de Witte features her own vocals on a lyric she wrote almost a decade ago. The track was shelved for years before resurfacing and turning into an entirely new track built around that original vocal.

The other two tracks keep the energy up with features from Theo Nasa on “The Resistance” with a special "Intro Version" of the title-track – a perfect tool for DJs looking to build up those peak-time moments. Nasa had his own Lifeline EP that dropped via KNTXT in October of last year. XSALT – a familiar collaborator of de Witte's – returns for his fourth joint track with the techno icon via the EP cut “See Through the Lies.”

“This is an EP very close to my heart,” said de Witte. It’s been a long time in the making, and carries a clear personal message of protecting club culture and the people who sustain it.

All proceeds from the record will be donated to The Nighttime Foundation – a global nonprofit protecting nightlife and supporting grassroots communities worldwide.
