Denis Sulta debuts on Defected alongside label returnee Capri

Denis Sulta makes his long-awaited Defected debut alongside label returnee Capri with ‘Push The Tempo’. The international heavyweight DJ hailing from Glasgow first crossed paths with Defected when headlining the label’s unforgettable New Year’s Eve 2025 party at O2 Academy Brixton, then dominating 2026 with powerful sets at the world’s best clubs including elrow in Ibiza, fabric London, Savaya Bali and many more.

From early underground success with breakthrough record ‘It’s Only Real’ supported by the likes of Four Tet and Bicep, to collaborating with fellow leaders of the scene like Solomun on ‘Say Nothing’ a decade later, Denis Sulta’s rise to the top of the electronic scene has been one to watch.

I’ve had such an amazing time working with Capri on “Push The Tempo” and I am so buzzing to be a part of the Defected legacy. Hope this hits as hard for you as it did for us! Big love and see you soon.

Now for his first ever release on London’s Defected Records he unites with rising house talent Capri. House heads will know Capri for his 2025 smash ‘Got The Funk’, 1001 Tracklist’s most played house record of 2025 created with Defected mainstay Low Steppa and heard all throughout the summer season and beyond.

Absolutely buzzing to be back on the legendary Defected Records. As artists, we work so hard to achieve these moments. Big shouts to my brother Denis Sulta, a real pleasure to work on music together! I hope you guys enjoy the record as much as we enjoyed making it.

Capri’s sound continues to attract the attention of the scene’s top players, including Sam Divine, Mark Knight, Jamie Jones, Danny Howard, Chris Lake and Fisher, with his upcoming releases on tastemaker labels Toolroom and Nothing Else Matters further solidifying his success.

Together the two artists deliver ‘Push The Tempo’, a hard-hitting club heater complete with brassy stabs, powerful drums and an addictive bassline that propels the track forward.
