Southpoint announces inaugural collaborative sampler EP, Pairdrops
The release features pairs of the label's most exciting artists.
Collaboration has always been integral to the Southpoint ethos, from the earliest radio takeovers to today's roster of over 50 artists. With Pairdrops, the Brighton label takes that spirit a step further, pairing artists from across its roster and challenging them to create something together.
A speed garage roller from STPT heavyweights MUCKANIKS & TOM LECHEF starts proceedings with MILES AROUND, before BUTCHABOI and Lotrax kick up the euphoria with MAGIC. JNG & tonton close things off with more club-ready bass goodness.
Together, the three collaborations offer a snapshot of the different sounds currently representing the Southpoint label, and give a taste of what's to come from the producers individually.
