This week’s picks move between heart-on-sleeve trance, sun-soaked progressive house, and breakbeat grooves that hit a little deeper. Expect melodies that linger, vocals that cut through, and plenty of energy across uplifting, progressive, melodic, and future house sounds, with a few unexpected stories behind them.

Ashley Wallbridge & MIDI Kittyy – Home [Black Hole Recordings]

“Home” has the kind of warm, emotional trance Ashley Wallbridge has become known for, but its story is surprisingly spontaneous. The melody came to Ashley while putting his daughter to bed, and within 30 minutes he had the track’s outline in place. MIDI Kittyy soon brought the vocals, inspired by the idea that love, family, and close connections can pull us through difficult times.

This was probably the fastest track I’ve ever done. Somehow, within a week, we had the whole track finished, and honestly, it’s my favourite track I’ve ever done to date.

— Ashley Wallbridge

Sometimes, it’s hard to express how much we value those people in our lives, so I wrote ‘Home’ as a way to help people show their loved ones how much they mean to them.

Tastexperience – Como El Sol [Black Hole Recordings]

“Como El Sol” brings back that warm, Balearic side of TasteXperience, inspired by the years spent living in Spain and the atmosphere that comes with it. A Spanish vocals, melodic warmth, and a steady dancefloor pulse give it that sunset-by-the-sea feeling, while nods to earlier records like “Tantrix” connect it to the duo’s roots without making it feel stuck in the past.

There’s an easy, open-air quality that makes it perfect for long drives, golden-hour views, and those moments when you just want to slow down and take it all in.

Ian Sndrz, Mark Corinth!, Cyrus Lucas & Aeakyo – Dream Come True [Gameroom Records]

Years in the making, “Dream Come True” finally brings its different pieces together in a polished future house setting, combining classic EDM energy with bright melodies, driving rhythms, lovely vocals, and plenty of euphoric lift. Dreamy and uplifting, it has an easy feel-good quality made for big moments.

The release went through several setbacks and creative changes before the right timing, production, and vocalist finally made everything click. The result gives a long-running project a fresh direction, blending the artists’ different styles in a way that feels both familiar and current.

Misja Helsloot – Regulation [In Trance We Trust]

“Regulation” goes straight to the heart of classic uplifting trance, with that unmistakable old-school energy and sense of release. Behind the euphoric sound, though, sits a more personal theme: learning to understand emotions without fighting them and finding calm when everything gets loud. It’s a reminder that even the strongest feelings can find their way into something positive.

It reflects a period in my life where I learned more about understanding and regulating emotions, not by pushing them away, but by giving them space and finding a better balance.

— Misja Helsloot

Maratone – Children Of The Night EP2 [Magik Muzik]

Maratone completes ‘Children Of The Night EP2’ with “The Voice,” bringing the four-track EP together in full. The three previously released tracks have already introduced its distinctive blend of progressive, melodic, and breakbeat elements, and the final piece fits naturally into that world.

There’s a beautiful tension between the rhythmic drive and the softer side of the EP. The breaks keep things moving, but it’s those melodies and vocal moments that pull you in and stay with you long after the record ends.

Milkwish – Lost In Paradise [Magik Muzik]

Milkwish follows up “Golden Days” with “Lost In Paradise”, a progressive house record that feels like summer distilled into a melody. Beachy atmosphere, warm progressive grooves, and subtle trance touches come together around a hook that is seriously hard to resist.

Tested across multiple events, including Milkwish’s mainstage set at Sunrise Festival, the release has already been getting a strong reaction. It’s the kind of record that brings that open-air atmosphere with it - melodic, uplifting, and made for those moments when everything just clicks.
