Beatport’s ‘The Block’ Reveals Breakaway Carolina Lineup, With Four DJ Slots Up for Grabs

Following a successful first outing at Breakaway Atlanta in May, Beatport’s ‘The Block’ is heading to Carolina for the next leg of the two brands’ ongoing partnership.

The Atlanta debut put competition winners on the same stage as Maesic, Twin Diplomacy, LostBoyJay, Val Fleury and more. Now the mobile, container-based stage and artist discovery platform is ready to do it again.

Breakaway Carolina takes over zMAX Dragway at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26. The festival’s largest Carolina edition yet expands from three stages to five, bringing more than 40 artists to Charlotte. KETTAMA, Chris Lake, Tiësto and Cloonee B2B Chris Lorenzo lead the main bill, alongside Beltran, Cassian, Dreya V B2B Beatport Next artist Cole Knight, Hamdi, San Holo, TroyBoi and more.

Now, Beatport’s ‘The Block’ is adding a fresh wave of artists to the festival, taking over its mobile container stage across both days with:

Four DJ slots are up for grabs:

Four emerging DJs will be selected to open The Block across the weekend, with each winner landing a 45-minute festival set alongside the announced lineup, plus festival access for themselves and a friend.
