Everything But The Girl - Run A Red Light (Logistics Remix)
Available both digitally and on wax.
Iconic UK duo Everything But The Girl’s ‘Run A Red Light’ has been remixed by none other than Logistics. One of the singles taken from their seventh LP released in 2023 through Buzzin’ Fly & Virgin Records, which marked the end of a 23-year hiatus for the duo, Hospital Records’ very own Logistics and self-proclaimed fan of Everything But The Girl has upped the tempo and injected his classic euphoric sound with a seriously top-shelf remix.
Stripped back yet effective in structure, Logistics’ remix plays into the original production and vocals, bolstered by the tasteful layering of drums, fluttering synths and a heartwarming bassline.
“I’m a huge fan and have been ever since hearing Tracey Thorn’s work with Massive Attack, and also through tracks of theirs like ‘Missing’ and all the amazing remixes they had done of their work around that time. It’s a huge honour for me to remix such a timeless and legendary act.” - Logistics
Following the release of Logistics’ 24-track Earthling LP earlier this year and his inclusion on the Hospital Records Forza Horizon 6 soundtrack, the Cambridge-based producer has jumped straight back in at the deep end after a three-year release gap.
