Remix Sara Landry & Alex Farell’s “Angel Dust” With Change The Beat for a Chance at a HEKATE Release

Change The Beat, Sara Landry's HEKATE Records, LabelRadar, and Native Instruments have opened a remix contest built around Sara Landry and Alex Farell’s joint-track “Angel Dust.” The collaboration pairs Landry’s high-octane sound with one of hard techno’s youngest breakouts.

Open worldwide to producers who identify as women or gender expansive, the contest invites entrants to download the stems and pull the track into their own world. The winner will be considered for an official HEKATE release, with Native Instruments prizes for the top three.

Released as the third single from Landry’s forthcoming sophomore album, Divine Intervention, “Angel Dust” arrived with the album announcement ahead of its October 16 release on HEKATE. Farell has an album of his own coming, with ten-track debut Youngest In Charge landing October 30 on the label. Landry has a proven eye for techno’s next breakout name – Farell’s rise is proof – so take your shot: the next producer she helps push forward could be you.

The contest arrives as Change The Beat works toward helping 300 women and gender-expansive electronic artists secure label opportunities by 2028. Founded by Sydney Blu as 23by23 in 2021, the nonprofit has already facilitated more than 100 label opportunities and signings (learn more here). 

In addition to its relaunched Remix Contest Programme, the wider organization also runs The Demo Room, giving artists direct access to labels and A&Rs, and Going Global, which supports sustainable international careers.
