Hype Label of the Month: Jackies Music Records
Born from Barcelona’s JACKIES parties, Jackies Music Records channels house, disco lineage, and feel-good dance floor energy into a fast-growing international imprint.

Before Jackies Music Records had a catalog, it had a dance floor. JACKIES, the Barcelona party founded by promoter Guillem Marimon in 2017, started on rooftops before growing into bigger rooms, bigger crowds, and eventually dates across Ibiza, Amsterdam, Tulum, Medellín, New York, and beyond. By 2023, launching Jackies Music Records felt like the obvious next move: take the music that worked at the parties and give it a life of its own.
That dance floor is still the filter for everything Jackies Music Records puts out. If a record makes sense at a JACKIES party, it makes sense on the label. The catalog already includes Moon Boots, CASSIMM, David Penn, Janika Tenn, Junior Sanchez, Biesmans, Grace Kim, Angelo Ferreri, and more, all tied together by a straight-up house sensibility with a clear appreciation for disco in its DNA. Think groove, soul, bright hooks, and feel-good records that aim to make the whole dance floor crack a smile at once.
The next run is already locked and loaded. Syncia and Cash Only's "Work It" has just landed, with Meca and Bakka following in September, the annual ADE compilation landing in October, and a new vocal-led sub-label quietly taking shape in the background.
Below, Jackies Music Records label manager and A&R Steve Mill breaks down where the label came from, what’s coming next, and how the sound of the parties feeds directly into the records.
