ALLKNIGHT Lights Up Colorize With New Single ‘Electric Love’
Out Wednesday 19th August on Colorize.
Colorize welcomes back ALLKNIGHT with ‘Electric Love’, a radiant new single that brings her unmistakable vocal presence together with uplifting melodic production. Out Wednesday 19th August, the track marks the latest chapter in a rapid rise for the Glasgow artist, arriving ahead of her forthcoming ‘Becoming’ EP due this September.
Built around Jodie Knight’s ethereal delivery and instinctive, hook-led songwriting, ‘Electric Love’ captures the rush of connection through driving synths, warm melodic progression and a chorus designed to linger. The track balances the emotional songwriting that has become synonymous with ALLKNIGHT with the polished, dancefloor-focused production that continues to define her evolving sound.
The single follows ‘I Found You’, her recent collaboration with Italian producer L.GU. and first official production collaboration. The release offered a different side of ALLKNIGHT’s artistry, with the artist stepping away from vocals to work purely as a producer for the first time. ‘Electric Love’ sees her return to the microphone, bringing together the two sides of her creative identity as she continues to expand her role as both vocalist and producer.
It arrives during another significant period for ALLKNIGHT, following a breakout year that saw her accumulate 9.6 million streams, while her wider catalogue has surpassed 50 million streams. Her growing reputation has taken her to some of the world's most respected stages, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Webster Hall and The Fonda Theatre, as well as appearances at Luminosity Beach Festival and Colorize Day of Light.
Her momentum has continued with a North American tour spanning New York, Toronto, Denver and Salt Lake City, building on her recent appearances alongside Marsh and further establishing ALLKNIGHT as one of the standout artists emerging from the global melodic house and progressive scene.
‘Electric Love’ also sets the stage for ‘Becoming’, ALLKNIGHT’s forthcoming EP arriving on Wednesday 16th September on Colorize. The project will explore the different sides of her artistry that have come increasingly to the forefront over the past year, with the release celebrated at a special ‘Becoming’ release party at Bird House Brewery on Monday 14th September.
