Charles D and KAF3R have joined forces for new Truesoul single ‘Freak Your Mind’.
The collaboration grew out of an Instagram connection, with the pair regularly trading music before a sketch from KAF3R caught Charles D’s attention.
“I’d been a fan of KAF3R’s music for a while, especially his track ‘Lost in Space’. You hear so much music scrolling through Instagram, but this was one of those ideas that actually made me stop what I was doing,” says Charles.
KAF3R sent over the stems and the pair moved quickly, completing the track within a week after exchanging several versions.
“The whole creative process flowed naturally, and after a few versions, we ended up with a final track that's full of energy and power. I'm really excited for everyone to hear it," KAF3R adds.
‘Freak Your Mind’ is a genre-hopping club cut that pulls together progressive and trance influences with a dirty, chugging low-end. Built firmly for peak-time territory, it marks Charles D and KAF3R’s first collaboration and lands via Truesoul.
