Marlon Hoffstadt Drops Debut Album 'Das Ist Daddy'

Marlon Hoffstadt has released his debut album, 'Das Ist Daddy', via Capitol Records in partnership with Goodlife Management and MC3.

Arriving after a breakout run that has taken Hoffstadt from underground clubs to some of the world's biggest festival stages, the eight-track project distills the euphoric, hard-hitting sound that has fueled his rapid ascent. The album pairs his trademark rave energy with a handful of collaborations, including appearances from Rose Gray on "My Darlin'," Niko Rubio on "On My Mind," and TAET and Alex Chapman on "Shuga."

The release also gathers recent singles "Party People" and "Get Buck," both of which helped build momentum ahead of the album. The former flips elements of Marshall Jefferson's house classic "Move Your Body" and The Puppies' "Hokey Pokey II," while "Get Buck" pushes Hoffstadt's sound into punchier territory with brass-driven hooks and festival-ready energy.

'Das Ist Daddy' takes its name from the phrase that lit up the Sahara Stage screens during Hoffstadt's Coachella debut earlier this year, a performance that saw the Berlin producer invite hundreds of fans onstage in one of the festival's standout electronic moments. That same fan-first spirit runs throughout the record, which embraces big melodies, peak-time hooks and the carefree energy that has become synonymous with his sets.

The album arrives amid another milestone year for Hoffstadt. Following appearances at Coachella, Tomorrowland and a string of major European festivals, he'll celebrate the release with performances across Mykonos, Zurich and Munich this weekend before continuing an international tour that includes WECANDANCE, Boomtown, CRSSD Festival, Portola and EDC Orlando.
