Jacques Greene Announces New Album 'jg' With Lead Single “Presence”

The dance floor is firmly in Jacques Greene’s sights on his most club-focused record yet. The Montreal-based artist has announced jg, his third album, arriving October 16 via LuckyMe, and shared its lead single, “Presence.”

The 11-track album is Greene’s first made “unapologetically for the dance floor.” Following the soft-focus drift of Verses GT, his 2025 collaborative album with Nosaj Thing, his new studio album marks a heat-seeking return to tracks made for moving bodies and large sound systems. Made during a period of personal upheaval, jg finds him returning to the people and places that gave him purpose, and chasing joy and connection in the process.

Speaking about his forthcoming album, Jacques Greene said:

This record moves away from concepts and follows an intuition for places where I wanted to be and where I would be wanted.

jg opens the next chapter in an album run that began with 2017’s Feel Infinite and continued with 2019’s Dawn Chorus, two records that showed how much emotion could live inside a club track. 

The guest list is stacked, too. Featuring joint-productions with the likes of DJ BORING, CFCF, and SAM-E along with vocal appearances from Sølv, crushed Ouri, Jonah Yano and more, jg has the feel of a booth packed with friends as the night hits its emotional stride.
