Beatport Live returns to New York with Ela Minus and Nick León going B2B in celebration of their new collaborative EP, qué les pasó a mis amigos? – landing August 7 via Smugglers Way.

Ela Minus is a Colombian artist, producer, and synthesizer devotee whose music turns anxiety, resistance, and raw feeling into sharp electronic songwriting. Nick León comes from a different pressure zone, building humid, dystopian club music shaped by Miami’s tension, rhythm, and after-dark weirdness. 

The two first met in Mexico City in 2024 and clicked quickly, not in a forced “we should collaborate” way, but in the quieter sense of realizing they heard something similar under the noise. That connection first surfaced on “Ghost Orchid,” their delicate, deep, sub-weight TraTraTrax single from 2025. Now it opens up further on qué les pasó a mis amigos?, a new three-track EP that pulls their two worlds into sharper focus.

For Beatport Live NY, Ela Minus and Nick León bring their connection into the room for a B2B set built on instinct, friction, and whatever happens when two artists trust each other enough to let things get loose and magical.
