Omar+ has dropped “Can’t Slow Down,” a self-written, self-produced club track that puts his own vocals right at the center of the action.

The new single rides a loose, low-slung house groove, with Omar+ slipping between smooth R&B phrasing, bright synth work and a hook that refuses to leave. It feels restless without sounding rushed, and the “euphoria” focused breakdown reinforces that calm sense of belonging on the dance floor. The release also lands with his first official music video, directed by Alex Sansom.

“Can’t Slow Down” follows "Out Of My Mind" Omar+’s spring link-up with Ben Sterling, a rubbery club weapon that pushed both artists into slightly stranger territory. It also keeps the momentum rolling after "Back to the 305" his collaboration with Luke Dean.

A member of the Beatport Next Class of 2026, Omar+ has spent the past year turning a quick rise into something much harder to ignore. Recent stops have included Coachella, Miami Music Week, Red Rocks and CircoLoco at DC10, with HARD Summer, Creamfields, Reading Festival and III Points still on the horizon.

Judging by the past year, Omar+ has named this one correctly: slowing down does not appear to be on the schedule.

The new Omar+ single “Can’t Slow Down” is out now via Atlantic Records.
