Neyl, Peaty & Zak Ria Unite To Deliver Their Groove-Driven Single 'Can't Feel It'

On Friday, July 24th, Deep Root Records unveils ‘Can't Feel It,’ a collaboration between three rising talents from across the electronic music landscape: Neyl, Peaty, and Zak Ria.

Neyl and Peaty link up again, this time bringing Zak Ria into the fold. ‘Can't Feel It’ rides the line between afro disco and pop, warm and groovy, built for the floor but with depth that rewards headphones too.

The guitar melody is the heart of it all, loose, instinctive, the kind of line you stumble into rather than write. Peaty's drums keep it tight and human, Neyl's bassline pulses underneath, and the synths and one-shots stack up layer by layer. Zak Ria's vocals lock right into that guitar line, finishing the track without crowding it.

Hailing from Morocco, Neyl is a guitarist, composer, and producer whose sound blends oriental, African, funk, and soul influences with roots in blues, rock, R&B, and hip-hop. His productions have earned support from artists including Adriatique, Solomun, and Keinemusik, while he has collaborated and shared stages with names such as Francis Mercier and Ahmed Spins. With his genre-crossing approach and distinctive musical identity, Neyl continues to push creative boundaries on dancefloors around the world.

Italian DJ and producer Peaty has established himself through his melodic productions, amassing more than 15 million streams across his catalog. Releases including ‘One Time,’ ‘Bamako,’ and ‘6 PM In Casablanca’ have helped position him as one of the scene's rising talents, with support from Keinemusik, Black Coffee, Francis Mercier, ANOTR, Adriatique, and WhoMadeWho.

Completing the collaboration is Stockholm-based producer, singer-songwriter, and mixing/mastering engineer Zak Ria, whose emotive vocal performance brings the record to life and perfectly complements its organic, groove-driven production.
