Beatport Live is back in Los Angeles on August 6 for a Beatport Live x HARD Selects Takeover with DJ Seinfeld, salute, and Chloëdees at our LA HQ.

Think of it as a HARD Summer side quest, afterparty, cool-down, or whatever else you want to call it. For anyone still carrying festival energy into the next week, we’ll be keeping the engine warm at Beatport Live.

Opening the night is Chloëdees, the East London-born, Los Angeles-based DJ, curator, and NTS Radio host behind Cinnamon Sounds. Her sets pull from London, LA, and plenty of places in between, moving with the soul, snap and swing needed to wake the room up properly.

salute brings bright, emotional club music with a real sense of lift behind it. Ahead of their forthcoming infinite passion mixtape, recent single “check check” gives a sharp preview of where they are heading next: rubbery grooves, club functionality, and a stripped-back bounce built to move a room with ease.

DJ Seinfeld also steps in after a massive run of his own. Beatport’s Artist of the Month this May, the Swedish producer recently released his latest Ninja Tune album, If This Is It, a record full of memory, release, pop sensibility and big open-hearted dance floor moments. His sets can get deep, euphoric, rough around the edges, and suddenly huge, usually when the room least expects it.
