Some records are built around vocals. Others revolve around melody. But “Beat Goes On” is driven by something far more recognizable: rhythm itself.
In the middle of a session working on an entirely different idea, Adam played Rafael a rough loop he had started. Rafael instantly connected with it, and from that moment, “Beat Goes On” took on a life of its own.
Built with the dancefloor in mind, the pair set out to create something simple, hypnotic, and hard-hitting, drawing inspiration from the spirit of acid house. What followed was a groove-first record that evolved naturally, one that prioritizes movement and rhythm over its spectacle.
At the heart of the track lies an infectious bassline, crisp percussion, and warm, driving drums that never overpower but constantly propel forward. Harmonic elements remain understated, allowing the groove to breathe and keeping the energy effortless and uplifting. The result is quintessentially Maccabi House: warm, optimistic, and impossible to stand still to.
There are no dramatic peaks or oversized drops here. “Beat Goes On” doesn't demand attention, it earns it respectfully. Through repetition, subtle evolution, and pure momentum, the record locks dancers into a hypnotic trance that feels timeless.
After more than two years of patiently clearing the sample, the time has finally come for the world to hear it. And fittingly, the title says it all.
