BYOR AND MENTUM TEAM UP TO RELEASE CLUB ANTHEM “I CAN DANCE”
OUT NOW VIA EXPERTS ONLY.

International DJ and producer BYOR and Nordic duo Mentum join forces on “I Can Dance,” out now via John Summit’s Experts Only.
Since debuting as the second track in John Summit's closing mainstage set at Ultra Miami, the track has become a fan favorite and a fixture in his live performances. Built around a driving tech house foundation with indie dance influences, the track channels a sense of nostalgia while capturing the euphoria of a late-night dance floor moment.
“I Can Dance” first came together as an instrumental from BYOR, built purely around club energy with no vocal direction in mind. That shifted when Mentum’s vocals came into play, instantly transforming the identity of the song. Made for late, drunk nights at the club, it taps into a loose, intoxicated confidence and the feeling that you’re unstoppable. With a ’90s-inspired attitude and hip-hop edge, the record elevates a straightforward club track into something that commands undeniable movement.
Electronic dance music producer and DJ BYOR, also known as “Bring Your Own Rules,” is recognized for his high-energy blend of bass and tech house. A rising force in the global electronic music scene, he has consistently ranked among the world’s top producers on 1001Tracklists over the past three years. With more than 1 billion streams across platforms, BYOR’s music has earned support from leading DJs including Tiësto, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, John Summit, FISHER, and Dom Dolla, alongside more than 1 million radio spins globally.
Tim Terkelsen and Finn Eriksrud form the Oslo-based electronic music duo Mentum, known for their high-impact, club-driven productions. Over the past decade, they have built a strong international footprint, accumulating tens of millions of streams and earning support from some of the genre’s most influential artists, including David Guetta, R3HAB, and The Chainsmokers. In 2026, Mentum continue to refine a streamlined “one-stop-shop” production approach, maintaining full creative control while delivering records built for both Europe’s premier club circuits and global mainstage audiences.
